A new classification scheme for the Taxes and Duties title of the Australian Digest is now active on FirstPoint, which is accessible on Legal Online and Westlaw AU. The new classification scheme greatly expands upon the previous one by providing 1011 classification points compared to the previous 482, thereby allowing researchers to browse and search for relevant case law with greater precision.
Key changes to the classification scheme include a new chapter for the administration of federal taxation legislation; a significant expansion of the goods and services tax chapter; and a thorough review of the chapters covering State taxes.
Australian Digest paper subscribers will receive reissued pages of the Taxes and Duties title in the coming weeks.
