The optional Client ID feature enables you to record the time you spend on research for a client. The Client ID feature is available to users who log in with a OnePass username and password.
Step 1: Log into Checkpoint using your OnePass Username and Password.
Step 2: Click on Client ID from the Checkpoint toolbar and enter a Client ID into the New Client ID box, then click Save.
Step 3: You will then receive confirmation that the client id was successfully changed.
Step 4: When you log off at the end of your research, the time you have spent for each client id will be displayed.
Note 1: Once you have created a Client ID all documents or searches you save to My Folders will feature this client id. Note 2: You can also change a client id during a session to reflect research for different clients. Simply click on the Client ID menu option from the Checkpoint toolbar and ent the new id. When you log off you will see all client ids listed.
