A search based alert notifies you when new documents are added to Westlaw AU which meet your search criteria. This can save you time and allows information to be pushed out to you via an email.
Example: We want to be notified when new cases and current awareness articles are added to Westlaw AU on the topic of anti bullying.
Step 1: Enter “anti bullying” into the Basic search box on the Westlaw AU homepage.
Step 2: Place a tick in the Cases and Current Awareness check boxes, then click Search.
Step 3: From the list of results click the Alert Icon.
Step 4: From the Customise your Alert page, enter the Alert Name, and Email Address then select your preferred delivery options. Click Save Alert.
This will display the My email alerts page with a list of all your current alerts including your newly created alert.
Note: There is a maximum of 200 documents delivered per Alert.
